Fall 2022 Workshop
with Ted Thompson

Meets Online, Tuesday Nights, September–December 2022

Limited to ten writers, this class will provide two opportunities to submit new writing, including one session dedicated solely to discussing your project and up to 50 pages from it. It will also give ample chances to connect with other writers and build community around your shared writing projects and practice. You'll leave with creative momentum and a strong sense of where to go with your projects moving forward.

Open to fiction and non-fiction writers. I work hard to put together a cohesive, diverse group that can support and inspire each other. Please only apply if you can attend the full term. I will keep a small waitlist for this class.

This Class Offers:

  • 14 meetings/sessions (2.5 hours each), with no more than 10 participants total

  • Two opportunities to submit pages and receive feedback as you grow with your project

  • A session dedicated specifically to your work, with the option to submit up to 50 pages to the group

  • Examinations of published work that inspires you, or relates to your project

  • A dedicated space to share joys and difficulties with your project and creative life

  • A one-on-one conference with the instructor

  • Q&As about publishing and MFA programs with the goal of demystifying both

Cost

The cost of the class is $260/month, or $965 if you pay up front.

To ensure my classes are accessible to as many writers as possible, there is a sliding scale for anyone who is accepted and needs it, no questions asked. The sliding scale for this class is: $220/month; $160/month; $100/month; $80/month; $40/month. So please apply regardless of your resources. We'll work something out.
