with Ted Thompson

Meets Online, Thursday Nights, September–December 2021

Limited to ten writers, this class will provide two opportunities to submit new writing, including one session dedicated solely to discussing your project and published work that inspired or relates to it. It will also give ample chances to discuss each others' work and share the joys and difficulties of your writing practice. Ideally, you'll leave with creative momentum and a strong sense of where to go with your projects moving forward.

This Class Offers:

  • 14 meetings/sessions (2.5 hours each), with no more than 10 participants total

  • Two opportunities to submit pages and receive feedback as you grow with your project

  • A session dedicated specifically to your work, with the option to submit up to 50 pages to the group

  • Examinations of published work that inspires you, or relates to your project

  • A dedicated space to share joys and difficulties with your project and creative life

  • A one-on-one conference with the instructor

  • Q&As about publishing with the goal of demystifying the process

  • A class visit from an accomplished author to share their own practice, craft, and insights

Cost

The cost of the class is $240/month, or $865 if you pay up front.

To ensure my classes are accessible to as many writers as possible, there is a sliding scale for anyone who is accepted and needs it, no questions asked. The sliding scale for this class is: $200/month; $140/month; $100/month; $80/month; $40/month. So regardless of your resources, please apply. We'll work something out.
